4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Providing safe and reasonable access to the property and items being removed
Identifying materials that may require special handling or disposal
Obtaining any necessary permission from property owners or other authorized parties
Ensuring they have the legal authority to authorize removal of the items presented
Informing A&J Hauling of known hazards or unsafe conditions
Keeping children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from active work areas when appropriate
By requesting removal of property, you represent that you own the property or have authorization from the owner to have it removed.
5. Prohibited and Restricted Materials
A&J Hauling may refuse to collect or transport materials that are illegal, hazardous, unsafe, prohibited by law, prohibited by disposal facilities, or outside the scope of our services.
Certain materials may require special handling, additional fees, or advance approval.
Customers must disclose known hazardous, regulated, or unusual materials before service begins.
A&J Hauling reserves the right to refuse any item or material when we reasonably determine that handling or transporting it would create a safety, legal, environmental, or operational concern.
6. Access and Property Conditions

A&J Hauling will exercise reasonable care while performing services. However, hauling and removal activities may involve moving large, heavy, or bulky items through driveways, yards, garages, buildings, doorways, and other areas.
Customers should identify fragile surfaces, concealed utilities, irrigation systems, landscaping concerns, structurally sensitive areas, or other potential hazards before work begins.
A&J Hauling is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, concealed conditions, or damage resulting from inaccurate information or undisclosed hazards, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
7. Trailer Drop-Off Services
If trailer drop-off services are provided, customers are responsible for using the trailer in accordance with instructions provided by A&J Hauling.
Customers must not:
Overload the trailer
Load prohibited or hazardous materials
Load materials in an unsafe manner
Move or relocate the trailer without authorization
Allow material to extend beyond safe loading limits
Damage, alter, or misuse the trailer
Additional charges may apply for overloading, prohibited materials, excess weight, damage, additional rental time, inaccessible pickup conditions, or other circumstances outside the agreed service.
A&J Hauling reserves the right to refuse transportation of an unsafe or improperly loaded trailer until the issue is corrected.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, or minimum-service charges may apply when disclosed at the time of booking or when costs have already been incurred in preparation for the service.
9. Payment

However, we cannot guarantee that any particular item or percentage of material will be recycled, donated, reused, or accepted by a specific facility or organization.
